Default 1997 D1 alarm problem... after jump starting

I have a 97 D1 and the battery died because i left the lights on.... i tried to jump it and the alarm started going off. Now I cant get the alarm to shut off tried to unlock and lock the driver side door 3 times. Tried key in the ignition I cant get anything to dis arm the alarm. Any suggestions would be appreciated since i cannot start my rover =/ thanks in advance!

the security module is located under the passenger side dash attached to a metal bracket that is held up by 2 7mm bolts, you will find a blue/green wire there (if not blue/green then it will be just blue) when the alarm is not sounding (you may need to have the door closed as well) you will want to attach another wire to this wire (with a small fuse inline) and tap it to ground. This should disarm your alarm.

I had the same problem the other day and locking and unlocking the rear hatch with everything (including the hood) closed worked for me.
