How many miles on the truck, how often in the past did the fluid get changed and what was the condition of the fluid with your first change, color/smell???

You may need to adjust the shift linkage or you have a valve hanging up internally.

I was going to suggest a shift linkage adjustment.
With it in park remove the trim piece that is on top of the gear shifter, tighten that nut.

Thanks for the info guys.Well the tranny has been serviced every year. The fluid is red and no bad smell.it has 121,000 on it.I drove it to Florida like this no problems just have to turn it off to back up.I just find it funny that All I have to do is turn it off and it works fine.I was told it may be a XYZ switch but I dont think this year has one.Im lost with this one but thanks for the help.If I come up with something I will post it .
