1999 disco II engine ideling noise

I have an SE7 with the HSE suppension. My engine is so loud! I guess because of the compressor. Any way to quiet the engine down?

Are you saying you have the ACE or SLS options? Your question doesn't make since.
There is no such thing as a HSE suspension.
What type of noise are you hearing and when?
What year and mileage is your truck?
