Thanks.

The DII came out in 1998 for the ROW (rest of the world).
Do you have a LCD odometer or mechanical?
Do you have the electronic HVAC controls or rotary *****?
Mechanical OD is first generation Discovery, rotary HVAC controls is also first gen Disco.

Mechanical odo, rotary *****. Looks like a first generation then. So, wouldn't have had the rear bars. So back to the original problem of body roll and sloppy handling...

Now its time for your thread to get moved to the DI section.
Yes the DI has anti-sway bars.
Land Rover Discovery I Rear Axle Suspension Parts Available from RoversNorth.com - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North
People take it off all the time, to much lift added, it needs to come off, want more articulation, take it off.
Yes you will have more body roll, but once you get used to it you'll be fine.
But I stand behind my original post, bad shocks.

When I got my 96 it was like Mr. Toads wild ride.It would rock for quite a while after stopping.Changed the shocks and rebuilt the sway bars and I was good to go!
