Default 2 issues start noise and p0340

Hey guys with your help ever since I changed my serpentine belt and pulleys. I have a squeal sound when I cold start the engine. It is for a half second

and also I have gotten error code p0340

what can be causing the squeal and code there any relation ?

are you sure you have the belt on correctly? it can be put on in wrong config and is still tight....

yes I been driving the truck now with no issues

this is how I put the belt on

Well, code PO340 is cam sensor related...and it harness is in the same general area as belt. Maybe you snagged or dislocated sensor plug while changing belt? Also, check tensioner and pullies, known to go bad often, and will squeal. Old belt may have been slipping enough or worn that it didn't cause pullies/tensioner to make noise...but new belt is gripping pullies better/tighter and causing noise now.

I changed all the pulleys also actually including the tensioner. I can look for the sensor plug the error message hasn’t come up in the last two days however. Which side is the sensor plug on?
