I used the Swagelok for my custom oil cooler lines. After about 10,000 miles absolutely no leaks. The hose, connectors and adapters I got from Summit Racing. I spent about $200, but this included a thermostat sandwich. I guess the trans cooler replacement can be built for $150.
Does anyone have the material list for the Swagelok parts? I bought the Trailhead kit several years ago and installed it, several years went by due to life, and I just got back on this LS swap project. Started it up for the first time the other day and both fittings at the cooler leak. Upon inspection it appears that the internal O-rings to the blue fittings of the kit are not large enough diameter. If I can go to Swagelok -> -8AN hose I will just do that. I have not been successful in finding a thicker O-ring for these fittings.
Thanks
I think I found what I need.
