2002 Kalahari. Wont Crank, & other issues.
LOL - yeah - she is too good to scrap. In fact is in excellent shape....I would not be going to this much effort if she was not.
Cam Position Sensor is up next. Will probably order a brand new one to be sure (as opposed to taking on off parts car). This will take a few days of course to show up....please stay tuned. I am not optimistic it will make any difference.
Also plan to remove the intake plenum and test the injectors for signal.
Short of rewiring the whole damn car....I really cant see what else there is to try.

This is so strange, you can turn on the FP with remote computer and get plenty of pressure(subjectively) so I doubt its the FP specifically. And now you know the wiring from ECU to FP is good.
Bad TPS?
Now how about the CPS wiring harness? It goes over the back of the engine. I think you have a bad connector or harness wire somewhere. Check the usual places: top back of engine, front right of engine, under fuse box. Maybe a wire is eroded or shorted.
Yes it's a PITA, but don't junk it!
