Question 2003 CDL Conversion

In thinking about converting my '03 to CDL, I have two options (maybe more?). I could either buy a used '04 transfer case with about as many miles as I have on my truck (70k) for about $300 - no linkage included - or go with the Toddco CDL kit for $379 with core charge. What would you folks recommend?

The kit for sure. Just about the same money plus you can put it in without removing the tcase or anything. Plus the parts are new/refurbished. No brainer. Get the kit.

"DITTO". Start looking for a great deal on the 04 cable shifter and order the new front t/case lift when your ready.
Might take a look at Josh's write up on doing the conversion, pretty straight forward.

Good idea. Do you happen to have the ebay link for that linkage? Bah, it's probably already gone...

or look around for a cheaper 04 tcase.

I just picked one up for 250. just change out the front output housing for the new unit and should be all good to go!
