2003 disco-tranny works but shift lights don't
On my 2003 Disco II the transmission shifts and the car drives fine but the red light on the shift don't move when you shift and the indicator on the dash (D,P,R,1,2,3) doesn't change when you shift-it just reads P. At the same time the front windows wouldn't go up. I turned the car off and restarted and everything worked again.
Does anyone know what's going on and what should I be expecting to fail?
