Just purchased a 2003 Discovery S and the heater doesn't work. It blows, but not hot air. At first it blew hot air intermittently, but that has stopped as well. Any suggestions?

 

First thing to check is coolant level since that could imply other issues!

 

I did get to check the coolant and it was completely empty. Just got the Discovery on Saturday and hadn't driven it expect to the gas station on Sunday. It appears there might be a small leak. What are the bigger issues I should be concerned with now?

 

Thanks! Added coolant and heat is now working. Appears there may be a small leak from one of the hoses, so hopefully nothing major. I'll have to take a better look at it tonight.
