if you jack up the front of the truck it will give you extra room to drop the pan

Thumbs up

Yeah Thanks for your help guys!!! I did the swap with no problems, and it was back in the truck the same day, No leaks and also take my time to clean everything and did some litle paint !!!! The oil pressure went up from 9psi to about 17psi..... this reading is just on idle speed at a normal temp of 190F.... The old pump was fine, no cracks at all.... Dont understand why the oil pressure increase with the new one. but what that heck LOL shes better now. On my 03 the oil pressure is at 22psi on idle. And on another 04 the oil pressure is at almost 30psi on idle. all this is at running temp 0f 190F... Mine runs at 180F.... Looks like every truck is diferent.. The rave said that 7 to 10 psi is good... Theres nothing wrong with 17psi or 22psi or 29psi on idle!!! Also all this trucks are using the same 10-40 syntetic oil with knn filter by castrol. And no additives. Al right guys!!! Thanks for ur help!!

Did you use a new o-ring on the pick-up tube? If the old one was bad that may effect the pressure. Also the outer gear can wear but not crack effecting the oil pressure.
