2004 D2 Suspension Inquiry
I'm in the market for a specific 2004 Discovery SE, but I have to wait a month or so before I can pick it up so I'm working on alittle preventative maintenance and could use some advice.
Did some reading up on the "electronic air suspension system" and need to know if the 2004 Discovery SE model comes stock with the EAS or the preferred "coil spring suspension system". We get a fair amount of snow, sleet, ice, salt and rain up here in New England so I want to cover all my ground - and prevent any potential suspension system failures. Supposedly the rubber bladders on the EAS systems are more prone to cracking and failure if exposed to colder winter conditions.
I also need some recommendations for air to coil conversion systems - brands etc. Does OldManEmu offer any such conversion kits for the 04? Take into account that I'm also looking to add a 3" suspension lift down the road...
Thanks in advance.
