No - everything they do is raw steel. You have to coat yourself. Here is there info.

Default 1/28 Update

Bled the brakes and tightened down some torque converter bolts that were leaking. Added another coat of herculiner to the sliders. Wish I have used this stuff on the bumpers instead of the duraback, Really goes on evenly with a nice textured finish.

Default 2/11 Update

Had some slight hesitation with shifting so added some lucas transmission fix to see if that helps. Also started attacking some more of the under carriage rust. Bought a needle gun to help make quick work of it.

2 coats - finished. Will do more this weekend.

How did you add the Lucas Transmission Fix if the transmission fluid was already full? Did you first drain a pint and a half of transmission fluid?

I opened the transmission fill port when it was semi-hot. About a quart came out. I let it cool, added the lucas, ran through the shifting and topped it off with a bit more ATF until it was dripping out.

Default 2/19 Update

Had problems with heat coming into the cab. Had the muffler checked out and the said it was fine. I crawled up under there again and found some heat shielding missing. So I ordered this stuff off Amazon and installed it. Also found a place above the transmission that didn’t have any shielding so I partially covered that. We’ll see how this goes tomorrow.

The missing piece

What about this spot over the tranny?

It ain’t pretty but it’s in there!

Bonus! Looks like it reduced the noise in the cab too. Take a look at my before and after decibels.

Idle before heat shield

Idle after heat shield

Idle to highway speeds after heat shield
