Default 2004 Disco 2 SE7 Rebuild

All,

I will be beginning a major overhaul of my 2004 Discovery 2 with 173k miles whose motor just grenaded. It is a truck I've had for 3 years and one that I plan on keeping for the next decade. My kids love it, and most importantly, my wife loves it.

Here is a picture of the truck after my lift:

Here is the plan:

-Remanufactured Long Block from Atlantic British (heads, water pump, front cover, etc.)
-New coils packs (already replaced plugs and wires)
-Refresh the coolant system (radiator, hoses, expansion tank) but not the heater core (will flush the heater core)
-Full Galvanized frame (probably Rovers North but need to price out)
-Polybush kit
-All new fuel lines
-All new brake lines
-New brakes (pads and rotors) (calipers are fine)
-Metal Front Bumper
-Metal Rear Bumper
-Wide wheel arch kit (my stock ones are horribly faded)
-Transfer case linkage
-(Maybe 1st and 2nd transmission gearing but will see)

I have already replaced and thus won't need to do:
Front drive axle
Shock/Springs
Shock towers

A few questions:
Is there a reason to prep the galvanized frame (acid, plus galvy primer) and then to paint it?
Any obvious *while you are in there* components I'm forgetting? There are a number of items that I will only replace as they fail (power steering, condenser, alternator, etc) but was trying to think outside the box.

I have a local shop performing the job - they have performed a number of motor and frame replacements on LRs and Defenders so I trust their work. I wish I could attempt this job myself but thankfully, I'm smarter than I look.

Wish me luck.

Faulk
