Default 2004 disco may be coming home...

well, the next car may be a used lr3 or a 2004 disco. Thoughts on the last year model disco? Worth the average $15k to $18k they are going for, or should I spend another $10k and look at the lr3? I am required to get a vehicle with the 3rd row seats (the wife demands it), so that's one reason a used RR is out of the picture. What should I look for or avoid in a used 2004 disco? And I imagine they were ALL made with auto trans, no manual trans available?

The 2004 Disco is the best one they ever made, but the LR3s are nice too.

Just drive them both and find the one that is going to suit your needs. It sounds like you won't be geard towards more offroad adventures, so that'd already have me leaning towards the LR3.
