Default 2004 Land Rover Discovery S not starting after the transmission Shifter Cable broken

I have a 2004 Land Rover Discovery S 4.6L. Recently had the transmission shifting cable broken. The truck was running fine before. However, after I replaced the shifting cable, the truck won't get started at all. And I hear nothing when I switch the key from ON to Ignition. I tried the Parking, Neutral and all gear positions. All are the same, turning the key just results in silence, no cranking at all.

Any clue of what caused this? would it be the transmission shifting cable adjustment? or the starter? any suggestions of where to start the diagnosis and how to? Thanks,

Yup your selector is not in neutral/park you will need to adjust the cable
