Talking 2004 LR Discovey, Tow wiring harness hook up?

Have a new genuine LR Discovery towing trailer wiring harness that simply plugs into existing wiring. Where do I find the existing vehicle wiring plugs, to plug this harness in, for
trailer lights, and how is the wiring harness mounted to the rear of vehicle? Is there a separate metal frame it mounts in? In the past, all my vehicles had towing wiring harness already on, so I am completely ignorant of this whole subject, obviously.

OEM harness connection is behind/below the RR tail light. Then the trailer end normally mounts to the hitch bar area.

Take a precaution (and my advice) and drill a very small drain hole in the bottom of the relay box. If you go in deep water the water can seep into the relay from the top where the wire harness plugs into and fill with water. After a little bit of time the parts in there will corode and cause the relay to Heat up, melt and kill all of your rear lights. Not having rear lights will not allow you to shift out of park and you are stranded. Then you pay for a tow and spend hours trying to figure out just WTF happened and what is the cause.

Pull up shifter bezel trim, push interlock in, and shift into any gear needed, then push the shifter bezel back into place. Probably takes 30sec on a D2.

I wish I would have known that 20 years ago! Now I know, and knowing’s half the battle.
