Default 2004 Nav Radio

I ordered from one of the largest North American Land Rover suppliers a radio tool to pull since I do not have the correct code. The tool did not work, and when I contacted the supplier, they said, we do not have a tool to pull a radio with the Nav system. The one you got was just for a standard factory radio. We have never seen one for a Nav system radio....maybe you have a Canadian L.R.

I contacted 2 L.R dealers, each gave me the code for the serial number of the Disco 2, but it will not unlock. I.E. someone said, the radio must have been replaced sometime so you need to pull the radio....hence me ordering the tool. Anyone have any suggestions. The tool was in a NOS Land Rover package, so it was the real deal.

I have the tool from AB, and it worked to unlock the tabs, but you have to push the radio out from behind.

Insert tools(there are 2 of them) into the lower slot openings to release the tabs.

Remove the button cluster and clock on the sides of the climate control panel. Push in the side tabs of the climate control and remove.

Now the tabs of the radio should be released, tools in the holes, reach behind the radio and push out.

I know it works because I just did it last week.

The tool works, when the secure tabs on the radio are deactivated with the tool(one in both hands) slide the radio out by pulling on each tool in the deactivated position, it slides out easily, and the serial number is located on the left side of the radio(opposite the volume control side) and your unit is a Becker traffic pro 4775. The best way to get the code to unlock is to call Becker Audio USA at 201-773-0976 and they will give you the unlock code for your Becker traffic pro 4775. Don't waste your time calling any Land Rover affiliate, they will give you some bs story.....this is the tool made for the becker traffic pro I got from ebay.
