Default 3 amigos

Good morning, I've had my Disco 2 for 8 months now & LOVE it, but now I have an issue. Two days ago, Monday September 14, I was t-boned by a neon on my passenger side, guy ran a red light, entirely his fault. I'm scheduled to get two new passenger doors, trim, paint next week, and my Disco held up great for the impact. Big problem is the dreaded 3 amigos just lit up last night, guessing from the accident. I am letting his insurance company know but wanted to ask for any suggestions or am I right in thinking it's from the accident? Thanks!

unless he hit your wheel i would not think so, but if you can get insurance to pay, more power to you

He hit mainly the front passenger door and spun me completely around, just thought it's a heck of a coincidence that those came on right after

There is a good possibility, especially if it spun you completely around. I would have them check your hubs. ABS sensors and their connections.

Glad you are okay. If it was not a problem before this happened, then it is a result of the accident. Make them pay to get it fully fixed. Your insurance company is going to turn around and put the bill to the neon's insurance company. Under no circumstances should you settle or deal directly with that driver or his insurance company. If they or he calls, give them your insurance company's contact info. His insurance company will try to get you to sign off on what is the"visible damage" and be done with you. If there is more they will say too bad. Let your insurance company deal with his. I speak from experience on this situation, you pay your premium, now make your insurance do their job.
