Should you be concerned if your brake light comes on?

No, the brake light only comes on if your brake fluid is low or your e-brake is not totally released.

Actually RAVE says brake light is not on only for brake fluid or handbrake. See this: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...e2/#post858852.

Wow! this is a real resurrection of a long dead and moderately dead thread. But, a good point is made. Not just that the third option turns on the light, that it may be a fault in the SLABS unit triggering the light. Nice to see the research done and posting of RAVE E diagrams!

Red brake light with 3 amigos, handbrake off, and full reservoir means a hard wheel sensor fault ie zero/no signal versus intermittent signal.

This.

When my front sensor was bad I had the brake light on as well as the 3 amigos. All went away when I replaced the hub.
