$100.00 is very inexpensive compared with a $4000 tranny.

I absolutely agree, although i wasn't comparing apples to oranges...i was simply getting a gauge as to whether or not the price was reasonable, as i have never used this shop and have not inquired what the rebuild would cost. Thx for your help drowssap

The joints run about $25 each so yeah, sounds reasonable.

got all 4 joints ($17/each) for $68 and the centering ball for $26, so not including the bolts its right around $100.....although i'm sure that does not include labor.
