I've just noticed a fault with my 96 300tdi Discovery Auto. When a constant speed is maintained the revs oscillate up and down and the max speed is now only 60mph. Has anyone any idea as to what may be causing this fault?

 

Problem solved - The pipe had become disconnected from the bottom of the intercooler (which is located on the left side of the radiator).
