Default 305/60/r18 Whats does my 04 DII need to fit these??

I do not want to make a mistake but it seems these are really not much larger than the 265/60/r18 that i have now, the current 265 have a ton of room?

Do you have any sort of a lift if so who's and how tall? What sort of wheeling are you doing?

Default I am geting a really good deal on the tires

I do not have a lift yet, I am waiting for my bonus then I am going to put a lift, bumper w/ winch, off road lights, plugs/ wires and replacing all my coolant lines.

I recently put new battery, altenator, brakes, coolant over flow tank, 2 window actuators, one door lock actuator.

I love my rover and doing all this work, If one does not then owning a rover is not a good idea.

I also may be buying am after market bumper from a 2011 jeep wrangler. I know I will have to do some mods, but I think it will look really good once done.

After just replacing the stock bumper (stock, not aftermarket) on my 04 D2, I can say with some certainty that the way you mount a bumper on one of these is COMPLETELY different than a jeep bumper. Don't waste your time and money modding a bumper that wasn't made for your car. Either cough up the money to get an ARB or look around for a used one. You will thank me, I've put bumpers, both stock and aftermarket on jeeps and literally finished replacing my stock rover bumper an hour ago.

You can't fit a 305 on a stock D2 suspension so better buy a lift first and at that it will be tight plus your diffs will need to be changed to a locker cause the 2 spider gear system won't hold up for that big a tire.
Also plan on loosing around 3 MPG unless you also add some 4:11 gears.

You can run that size tire with a 3" lift with a small amount of fender trimming depending on wheel offset. I ran 305x85 r16 SSR's on DII road wheels with a Terra Firma 3" springs and had no issues. Depending on what style of wheeling you're planning on doing the diffs will be fine for a while. 4.11's or 4.14's will get you pretty close to the stock configuration so if you do plan on wheeling it and drive it around town and want to take advantage of the regear go with something around 4.43 to gain a little pep or if you don't care at all about going above 65mph and the engine screaming you can go the 4.78 route, I wouldn't suggest it though.
