My new to me Discovery did not have a front hood decal "LAND ROVER" and I own a sign shop so I can make my own but I don't know the size.
Does anyone know it off hand or could someone measure there's for me Tall and Wide will be fine, I will figure out the spacing of the letters.

 

30 inches wide (both words, edge to edge), 1.5 inch tall. Just don't make them look like the ones on the pix at top of this web site - lol.

Here's another ROI - ( Redneck Opportunity for Income ) - hood decal for the top of the hood, many available in flat black, but what about camo, yellow, other colors? And a green oval with mud on it, etc. This sort of thing would cover up a good ding in the back door, etc. A Disco that I see from time to time does not have a tire cover, he has a custom made round sign that is mounted to that plastic plate promoting his business - guess that makes the truck a business write off.

My fave is "Hummer Rescue Vehicle".

Of course a little white letter strip for the glass that says "landroverforums.com member" would be nice. Two flags, USA and Union Jack - Made in the UK for Mud in the USA

Oh you could make a lot of Rover signs and stickers. Post some pix.

 

Thank you..... and yes I want mine all to be in flat black that way it will match the top of my hood and I even have some carbonfiber I want to put on just to see how it looks, but I am sure that would look better on some of the newer Land Rovers?

Well the blackout looks great. Is it the good quality stuff? I have one from VIG in the garage.

But I don't love the Rover lettering. I think your spacing is off. I was looking at a bunch of Disco's, RR's and others..they line up like a caravan after kids school...and there were a couple versions of the letters...some with big gaps between the two words some evenly spaced. Also the font slightly changes. What did you use for the font....an image or a live font?

Can you wrap your truck in it? I considered doing the the roof.

 

By the way...if you don't protect that bumper it will shatter with the slightest impact. You need either a brush bar or a off road bumper. It's amazing it's not cracked already.

Also, consider some mods like the ghetto (safari/kalahari) grill and cut front bumper.

Looks just like my 02. Champagne. Or beer as I prefer.

 

Yes I found out the spacing is off I got the original spacing from a Discovery down the street from me, But I was out in Las Vegas on work this weekend and took 7 pictures of different Discovery's that I saw out there. and all 7 are about the same spacing so I will redo it this week but the font is correct.
