Yes and no. The RAVE CD is a workshop manual for mechanics, it is assuming that you know what you are doing and that you wrench at a shop and get paid for it. Us DIYer's have snaked our way in on this one. Most DITer's dont have this kind of info avaiable to them.
That being said, yes, it does have some instructions.
Like it will tell you to drain the cooling system by removing the lower radiator hose, flush with water, reconnect the hose and then refill and bleed the system. It is assuming that you know where the lower radiator hose is, how to unhook it, flush the system, refill and bleed.
If you start at the main page, select your truck, DI, DII etc., then click workshop manual, then cooling system, then find the tab that applies to what you want to do.
I have actually read almost the entire CD on DI's page by page. It is actualy a good read if you are, well, me.

Ok gotcha , Thanks Spike. After fooling around with the cd I see that you can click on certain areas ( a hand pointer thingy) i think and goes more in depth on the instructions and diagrams. Yeah there is a lot of knowledge to be gained here and im looking forward on getting started, saving $ and learning about my truck and automobiles in general.

I also have the printed workshop manual and have taken that on the train for some reading during my commute.

I just did all that on Mikes list and a few more things. That being a dealer price is about right. I spent more than that and did everything myself. I did use all Synthetic fluids and Brands like Mobil 1, Lucas, Red Line, Magnacor, Bosh is what I used. Just for the tranny flush with filter kit and a coolant flush was $435. Again expensive fluids and I added Lucas additive/treatment. I took it to a local place for that only. Use you Rave manual and you'll be fine.
