Exclamation 95 Disco door locks

I have a few of the door 'handles' that wont open unless I have a key holding it to 'unlock' or my hand pulling up on the lock....

seems the 'slide' that initiates the 'locking mechanism' isn't staying to lock, or unlock, it's just moving freely...

you'll see the lock open then slide down a few millimeters or slide down to lock and then rise up a few millimeters, i changed the lock actuators already and that didn't fix the problems,

open to recommendations, doing a rebuild on just about everything atm ....

If you're refering to the door latch spring when you say locking mechanism, then you're correct. It is the door latch spring. Refering to anything else and you're incorrect.

BTW, how have you been? Have you gotten your engine problems solved? It's been almost a year and I remember reading your post related to steam and waer like vapors coming from your exhaust.
