Default 97 Disco inseperable front hub/rotor

After I tried wrapping my head around the fact that the hub was INFRONT of the rotor (so I would have to tango with the all of the hub claptrappery just to get to it), only to discover that the caliper bolts are 12 point (another trip to the parts store for a socket), only to finally get the hub/rotor off to discover that disk retaining bolts are a *different sized* 12 point (yet ANOTHER trip to the parts store for ANOTHER socket), only to discover that the hub seems to exhibit the gravitational attraction of Jupiter on the rotor. I tried some "persuasion" in separating the two with a hammer, but all I seemed to accomplish was marring the inside edge of the hub. I've sprayed the cleavage plane with WD-40 and am walking away from this for the night to let the WD40 soak and to forget my exasperation with this whole "easy" project.

So... anyone know any super-secret-voodoo method for separating the hub from the rotor on a 97 disco?

I have the RAVE manual and it just says :
"4. Remove five bolts and separate hub from brake disc."

Jeez, thanks RAVE... that was really helpful.

Place the rotor, hub down, on some wooden blocks, place another wooden block (ideally oak or something hard like that) and give it a really solid whack.
If you have a piece of flat steel, place that between the block of wood and the hub.

When putting it back together, use some of this between the rotor and hub.:

I've been using it for over 35 years and it's great stuff.
