On my 96 the owners manual tells you how to do it.
I have done it and its works but I do not know about the
other years.

 

When your ECU is in the learning mode, you can program up to 5 remotes using the procedure in the manual. With one that old, I doubt it will work, and the ECU will have to be opened by testbook or something similar.


As far as the if found call on your keys, they could google your # and come take your cars....

 

Let your wife know that having to much weight on the ignition swtich will ruin it so she needs to lose some of the keys.
