98 Disco - no fuel pressure
#51
So, my '98 Disco 1 needs a new fuel pump relay too. My mechanic is charging me about 400 and some change to do this repair. After reading this, I think I can do it myself. Is it a pretty easy fix? Just a simple "pop in, pop out" kind of deal? I'm not mechanically inclined AT ALL, but would love to pop this out by myself and save a couple hundred.

Truck is running great. Put the old fuel pump back in because when comparing the new Master brand and the OEM pump, there is a difference in where the tube connects to the pump. In short, the Master brand was letting pressure bleed off and now I aint having that problem. I will keep the new one till the old goes out and then figure out how to make it work.
