98 Disco with 71k miles.

I am going to take a test drive today, what should I look for? Are there any know problems I should ask about?

I have seen pictures and I saw some rust in the door jambs - This is what the seller said -


Is that really normal? Other than that the car looks to be in fantastic condition and he is asking $7100.

Thoughts and opinions appreciated.

It happens, but I would not be real eager to buy it unless the price was really right, I mean a steal.
What are you wanting the truck for, will you be doing alot of wheeling?

Not much off-road at all. I just want a decent commuter car that will be good in the rain/snow... It will end up being the family workhorse vehicle also.
