Default 99 boosted with leads reversed - no crank now

Tow truck operator boosted my 99 DII with the polarity reversed. I put a new battery in, but it won't crank over now. I have flashing S and M trans lights.

Any ideas?

you can burn electronics, pop fuses, burn alternator. sounds like you could have immobilized yo ride (is your led on, as you try to start). m&s could be because you were -9v.

Yeah, he'll need to go 24v now to overcome the -9v deficit.

The immobilized led is not on. The park light on the shift bezel is not on, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Sounds like you should start checking fuses. You got one fuse box under the dash and one under the hood. S

Had a buddy do this once, it was a d1. Check your under hood fuses. I believe the fuse that he blew was the 100 amp alternator fuse
