Also...what size (diameter) is that hose for the cruise control? Need to pick up some for mine too.
Didn't check the size,. Just something I had on the shelf

A vacuum leak usually only causes a high idle on speed density engines. Or, vehicles that only have a map sensor with no maf sensor.
One simple check you can do is to turn the key on with the engine off and listen closely to the iac valve. If the computer is trying to control it and it's not completely dead, you can hear it hum. If you don't hear or feel a slight vibration, check for power at the connector.

Default Problem found,...another vacuum leak at intake manifold

I was wondering about two simultaneous symptoms I have this morning,.....I have a faster than normal idle, and also excessive brake pedal travel and excessive pedal pressure required to stop the truck. Thinking through it, I wondered if I might have a leak in the brake booster vacuum line. I went out to check it and found the problem almost immediately,....after removing the hard plastic line for the brake booster at the intake manifold and checking it for leaks with my vacuum tester (was OK),....I thought I better check the small black block off cap next to it. I pulled it off and.......couldn't believe there was a large hole on the end of it. I replace the block of cap/plug with a small secition of vacuum line with a tightly fitting tapered screw in one end of it,.....and found that the idle is now normal,.......AND my brake feel and proper stopping power also immediately returned!!!!!

That deserves a Hooo--Hooo in my book!
