99' D2 TD5 Cranks but won't start..CPS, inertia, ECU?
Alright, problem solved. It was the battery. New battery shoes, cleaned contacts, removed SLS ground which was probably draining my old battery (I have coil springs at the moment ) and Disco started like it has never started before. BLAM!
Good result eh, hopefully it'll be no more trouble. If you have converted from SLS to coil springs make sure you have re-programmed the BCU otherwise your air suspension pump will keep running unnecessarily.
Yessah done that but I read somewhere, that one should remove the SLS ground too. Now I can continue with the project:
CDL upgrade, my new t-case does not have it.
Rear lockers.
Refurbish shafts.
New springs and shocks.
Roof rack.
Utility bench and improved backspace altogether.
New interior to cabin.
Relocate ECU.
New joints and HD anti roll links.
New Watt's linkage.
etc.
Maybe I will convert this to a project thread.
