Thank you in advance! I could not find an answer usig search. Both upstream O2 sensors have plugs that are melted together. How do I replace them? Do I simply cut them off and splice new plugs in? If so, where do I get said plugs? Will the splice effect the readings given?
Thank you again so very much for any constructive responses. I rely on this forum more than you know.
Do your connectors look like the below picture?
If so, you can cut out the connector and splice the wires together if you have enough slack in the wire assembly.
IMO... I'd go another route to try and find another suitable QD connector or buy a new O2 sensor assembly and reroute the wire assembly(or add a heat resistant sleeve) so it won't touch the exhaust.
