Hey all:

I've heard this is a common problem, but haven't heard specifics on what to do yet.. or if I can do something myself.

My ABS, TC & HDC lights are all on. They started coming on sparadically and now stay on all the time.

My SRS light has just started coming on now too and stays on all the time.

Anyone have suggestions as to what's happening and what I should do?

take it to a dealer or shop that has the proper equipment.these lights come on if if one of your abs sensors go bad or your brake modulator has electrical problems either way your looking at an expensive repair.[:@]

 

So.. is there a way to disconnect the lights with a fuse or something? I'm thinking seriously of selling the vehicle and don't want another $500-$1000 repair before I do it.

This think is bleeding me dry!

 

remove bulbs behind cluster, don't un plug odometer though.
your not gonna sell it to some poor guy thinking nothings wrong when there is but the bulbs are just removed are ya?

 

i wouldnt remove the bulbs,your abs system will become inactive if there is a hard fault!your better off telling someone that they have to fix that so at least they know that the abs system might not be active.

 

I was thinking of trading it to some poor dealership. I don't care what they do with it.

So.. apparently no real way to deal with this other than the worthless jerks at my local LR dealership.
