Aamco tranny flush

No. Find an indy shop you can trust, or DIY. You need to change filter and fluid. Tranny fluid is high detergent to begin with, most contaminants are on the filter. Miles on vehicle, and has fluid ever been changed?
If you are convinced that a flush is needed, if you change fluid and filter, then change again at a short interval, I bet you can DIY for less than the wallet -vac. Would also be surprised if a national chain will allow you to provide the fluid and them provide any kind of warranty.

I don't know when/if the tranny fluid has been changed in 70k miles. I don't see a dealership record of it so I wanted to start fresh.
I was going to drain the fluid myself and replace, but I wanted to get more that 5-6qt out. I could do the quick drain and then do it again in 10k miles to exchange the bulk of the fluid. would the results be worth it? Or should I find an indy shop and have them flush it completly?
Spike555- Why would a Full synthetic shift worse than an other fluid?

It was not designed to work with full syn.
I cannot say for 100% that you will have shift problems after putting in the full syn ATF but I have heard of many people who have, these were not LR's it needs to be noted.
I would not do it.
I would just take it in, let them do their job and then go home.

That BG flush by an indy would be more trusted than Aamco.
