First, no, per the owners manual, after the 30,000 service you don't replace the tranny filter.
Why have a shop do the service, save your self hundres and let us walk you thru doing it your self.

I just completedchanging front and rear diff, TC, engine, transmission fluids. whichcompleted Mike's list, everything is pretty easy, the only problem I had was removing the TC fill plug but with the help of a friendI was able to get it out. Save your money ifyou can and do it yourself.

the best insurance one can have is the ability to not only know every square inch of their own vehicle, it is also the benefit of knowing how to fix and locate things in the situation that might have you stuck on the side of the road otherwise. plus the thousands you will save over the course of years in NOT having a professional have to charge you everytime they eyeball your rig.

the most complicated thing about a modern car or truck is the computers. beyond that it is a simple working mechanical device. really no more complicated then a corkscrew. just take the time to know how it works and then working on it will be easy.

Changing your transmission fluid and filter is always a good thing.
Doing a power flush is not.
Do you know for a fact that the trans filter was replaced at 30,000 miles?
Just because it was supposed to be done does not mean that it was, even if it was offered for free.
