About to purchase
I have test driven a 2003 HSE with 108k, everything felt tight and the engine didn't make any knocking or ticking, but I'm still a little worried just because it has hit the 100k mark. I noticed valve cover gasket leaks which I don't think is a big deal. I looked under the car but didn't really know exactly what to look at, I just made sure the transfer case had no sign of oil dripping out. He's willing to sell it to me for $7750. The O2 sensors have been replaced.
what do you guys think about the price? What should I look forward to replacing? Should I pass?

2003's are the hot item this year! Start with the "HOW TO" section and read up. Then search a little deeper on the 2003, there is an issue with some '03's in a certain VIN range having a fatal oil pump problem.
I would do my research before jumping into an '03.

Oh Man I needed that today! I personally don't think the cool front end is worth the VIN Lotto ticket with the engine. These Guys/Gals will point you in the right direction with whatever you decide. Good luck! Once you find the DII thats right for you you're going to be stoked. For example mine is lifted and there is snow up to the bumper and I just went to the store for the Wife by turning it on putting in drive and blasted out of the driveway no problem! Happy Hunting!!
