Default ABS and Brake Light

I have a 1998 Discovery. The ABS and brake light stay on. I have had the vehicle for 3 months, and I have had on issue with the brakes. I thought maybe the brake light had something to do with the emergency brake, however can not find anything wrong with it

Any ideas what is wrong here

Thanks in advance

You need to get a mechanic to read your codes for the ABS. It is not related to your e-brake, usually when the brake light is on, either your brake fluid id low or the e-brake switch is bad or the cable needs to be adjusted. The ABS light is usually caused from old fluid, dirty brake pads, brake squeaks and wheel speed sensors.

In my case the ABS light comes on along with the beam light indicator (but this oneit's not really led up, just barelly), but it goes away after a few minutes. Sometimes it's on, sometimes it's off - sometimes only one of them / most common is the beams indicator.

I'm thinking there is something else (maybe a relay switch or a short somewhere) not working properly.

I am new to Land Rover, have a 2001 Discovery SE. In my case, Brake light stays on always, fluid level looks good, ABS light is working normal. So where is the brake switch or sensor that may be the problem or how do I adjust the cable if that could be the problem?
