Default ABS Codes....

I had my ABS codes read today by a indy mechanic who was nice enough to do it for free and got these codes;

"Right Front Wheel Sensor"
"Shuttle Valve Switch"

He cleared the codes and advised me to start with the wheel sensor first, what do you guys think? ABS/TC is not working by the way.

thanks

As long as the brake pads and rotors all look good then yes, start with the wheel sensor.

Rotors and pads are good,
After replacing the sensor (and that is indeed the problem) will the ABS begin working?

thanks Spike

If your ABS is not pulsating, you will need to rebuild the module with the new $800 kit.So let me make sure I am understanding you correctly, if you attempt a panic stop on a loose surface, you don't feel the pulsation thru the brake pedal?
