Default ABS Diagnostic Port Specific

Hello forum I just recieved ABS amigo in the mail.
I have a 2003 Discovery
Four questions for three amigos

1). Is the port for abs amigo at passenger side footwell?
2). If so any tricks to getting the trim off with out screwing it up?
3). Disco need to be switched on or running to recieve and clear codes?
4). Has anyone tried their ABS Amigo scanner with a MACBOOK?

Here is the ABS Amigo baseline printout prior to hook up to the truck.

Thanks for all the help. This forum is great.

You plug it into the regular ODBII port under the steering wheel (assuming you are in the US). It did not come with instructions?

Thank you, very much.

Default False Positive

Can anything trip to cause a shuttle valve fault?
Intermittent 3 amigo light everything works fine.
2003 Disco 2
Scan with abs amigo looks like this, and yes it works with a Macbook!

Looks like you should try this kit:

http://www.jewellamberoil.com/sales/...roducts_id=190

If that does not work you may have to tear into the ABS module and re-solder a connection.

Hi Mike yes brakes at one time squeaked but not any more. I replaced the brake pads even though they were fifty percent. Rear drivers side hub leaked a little so I changed rear gear oil to 145 weight with one ounce of White Shepperds no more leaks or squeaks.
I have not driven the Disco since I reset the three amigos with the ABS Amigo.
I asked the wife what occurs just before 3 amigos and she said hard braking. I have never seen these three guys appear while I was at the wheel.
