Default ABS lights

I have a 2000 Discovery II. A while back my brakes started squeaking. Then my ABS, TC and Down Hill lights would come on some times. Then a few weeks later the lights just stayed on all the time. I checked the brakes and found the rear brakes to be almost gone. I replaced the rear brakes, front brakes (they were not as bad as the rear brakes but not much life left in them), and the front rotors. The front rotors were very bad. They had a deep grove and a large lip around the edge. Anyway the lights are still on. I disconnected the battery to try to clear the lights but didn't work. How do I clear the fault code to see if I fixed the problem?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
Bruce

sorry, I should have searched the forums a little more before I posted this. Looks like this is a well known problem and I need to get a LR mechanic to clear the lights. Hope they stay off.

When you go have the codes read, write them down, cause usually they always come back, mine do about once a year, and it is always good to know where the fault is coming from.
By the way, never disconnect the battery to drop a code, it won't do anything except throw off your a/d guages and possibily disable your radio.

Thanks Mike,

I took it today to a local LR repair shop (not a dealer). They plugged it in and got a whole page full of codes. Cleared them and started the engine. All the codes came back. The mechanic seems to think there may be a ground fault. I'm going to take it back in to him and see if he can find it.
