educational ace reading ACE - Active Cornering Enhancement
and it looks like a patch will be a weak link. I'd go for full replace of line

as you said it is just steel tubing, try replacing it with steel fuel line and compression fittings you really have nothing to lose.
if you are looking to replace it try some of the English sites someone over there makes replacement tubing in sections.
I "believe" LR is one big piece of tubing.

I had to replace a line also, Land Rover only sells half lines, I used a high pressure coupling and its still holding. I recommend you get some vacuum line, I'm not sure the diameter of the ACE lines, but wrap the vacuum line around the ACE line, it protects it from salted roads and stray rocks shot at them.

Sorry, What do you mean by vac line, that rubber stuff? Like shrink stuff? Or just a length of vac hose slid over it?

I used the vacuum line from AutoZone, rubber kind used on your brake booster, cut it down the middle (like a hotdog(only example I could think of) and wrap it around the high pressure lines. I used an industrial type tape I found in my dads shop, wrapped it around the lines. The ACE system is a littler quieter when in use, but the protection the rubber line offered was good for my use, I live in the desert and a lot of gravel gets shot up under my truck.

Then use a 3/8 Inner Diameter line and wrap it, the angles you'll have to use a thicker, because the line when cut wants to open more and wont want to fit, that's only if you'd like to do that job that is. Its was a pain in some of the cramped spots, removing the viscous fan will be needed, and I don't have the SAI pump so I'm not sure if that would be in the way either.
