Active Cornering Enhancement in 2022
Now that these vehicles are up to 23 years old, I'm looking to get some updated information on ACE and how its held up over time. Who here has an as ACE truck?
Has the system been reliable even after all this time?
Can any maintenance be done to prevent failures of any kind?
Are parts readily available if need be?
Thanks in advance!

My '00 Disco has 283K, runs great, new AB long block, no rust, etc. Has ACE. I installed a new ACE valve block from Design and Development Engineering, LTD in the UK. I was having leaking from the original block that could not be fixed with new seals (corrosion between steel lines and aluminum block). Installed the new block and all is fine. I did have a slight leak on the pressure line that runs under the radiator, got a new one from Lucky8 and again, all is fine. Link for the new block: https://www.designdevelopmenteng.co....ded-p389433934
Still works and the system is great! My Disco is a daily driver as well as some off road.

I do and ACE is great. No issues. 112K miles on my 2000 ACE truck... One broken hose at one point (which I replaced myself and attempted to bleed using Nanocom but ended up having a shop do it as I think there was a Nanocom issue...) but no other failures.
I love the system. I get massive articulation off-road and the truck stays amusingly level if you park a wheel on a curb etc.
I've heard great things about the Design Development Engineering redone ACE valve body as well....

I never really thought much about the system in my '99 D2 which was equipped with it, aside from running the Hawkeye self-test in the driveway one day. Boy, was that an experience! The truck tests the suspension rams one at a time, but it doesn't do them incrementally. Ohhhhh no, it doesn't. It tests them BANG BANG BANG BANG one after the other, to the point where the vehicle almost leaps off the ground.
I figured that the system was working just fine after that and I didn't need to mess with it.

Looks like y’all are the ACE experts hope you can give some insight.
I just did my head gaskets and when I started it up I noticed what I thought was PS fluid leak but I checked the reservoir and the ACE is almost completely drained. I haven’t figured out which line it is yet but any tips on how to handle the line replacement? I am sure I should do both.
More detail. I have only backed it out of the garage and parked it, so it’s maybe moved 20 feet under its own power, the ACE light was on but no chime and I have a pretty terrible squeal when running and at first I thought it was coming from the AC compressor but now that I’ve seen the ACE fluid reservoir I suspect the pump. Think I’ve cooked it in that short time?
