Hi Again, Actually I have a few questions about the whole console .....

What is the small square box that is a LCD rectangle thats right beside the
odometer and how does the alarm work, and cruise control?

What year do you have?

I'm not sure about the LCD rectangle, you might need to describe that a little more. But you can turn the cruise control on by hitting the switch to the right of the steering wheel on the dash. It looks like a road (two lines and a little line thing). When you push it cruise control is on but not set, you have to hit the set button ON your steering wheel for you to be able to "cruise". The alarm is set when you lock the door, it doesn't honk or anything to tell you its on, but it is. I know this because I always hit lock once and one time I pulled the handle to early and the alarm went off.

As for the other button you are going to have to describe that one some more, is there anything on it? (picture, letters?)

Oh yeah, that information is based on a DII so it might be different if you have a DI, but i'm pretty sure the cruise control is the same.

I looked at previous posts and I think he has a 2003.
Spike, can you tell from the description what the LCD button is?

I looked at the Rave CD and looking at the istrument panel it looks like he is talking about the warning lamp display.
I have a D1 so it is different from mine.
You have a D2 so I think he is talking about the spot directly left of the OD. And yes the cruise on a D1 works the same as a D2.
