Default After market radio options:

I have a 2003 Discovery II SE7 with the factory navigation radio receiver and the six-disc CD chaner under the front set. I am having some problems with the receiver and was thinking about installing a new after market radio that can utilize an iPod and maybe Bluetooth capability.

I am not too worried about perfect in-dash fit but do not know if there are wiring harnesses that can plug directly into the cars stock wiring and the new radio without a bunch of re-wiring. Any input or leads would be greatly appreciated.

After wiring for power, all you need is a harness like this for the audio.

Car Radio Stereo Premium Sound Wire Harness Install Plug Metra 70 1786 | eBay

The RCA plugs plug right into the aftermarket deck, and the other end into the factory harness. This will allow you to still use the factory amp. However, you will loose steering wheel controls. No biggie, this will fix that, and it is extremely easy to install:

bballjames,

Thanks for the input...! This is exactly the information I was looking for. I have a quick question...I was looking at the "Metra Axxess steering wheel control interface" online but the website states that it has not been tested on my vehicle. Do you know of any links that may have some info on how to install this in my vehicle? Thanks a million...

I can tell you exactly how to install it. It works great on our discos. And it is not a bad price at all. Also when you actually get the unit there are paper instructions with everything you need. They even have land rover specific instructions, even though they are not on the website. Need any recommendation for a deck? I got the JVC B50XT or something and it is awesome. Under $100 and great features including iPod and Bluetooth integration.
