After motor swap DII wont start
All ground straps were removed wire brushed along with mounting surface and reattached. The only thing we could find not plugged in was the windshield heater and headlight washers. If there was something that wasn't plugged in we might find it when we install the next replacement motor. We should know something tomorrow. D*
Second motor in and runs like a top. No SES lights but I do have a light on the dash that I'm not sure about. It's on the right side above the fuel gage and looks like a gear with a thermometer looking thing and red in color. what is it?
Thanks for any help D*

Found out that the transmission temp. light was caused by a stuck brake caliper. Rover had not been on the road for nearly 4 years and all kinds of bad things can happen when they sit for that long. Getting new tires, brakes and calipers done today. Will give it a good detailing next week and drive it until it falls dead in the road. D*
