Aftermarket bumper affect temps?

Last spring I had my water pump replaced by a shop while replacing the timing cover gasket. Water pump died shortly after as it began leaking from the weep hole. I noticed when replacing the water pump myself to fix it, that the belt had been routed over the water pump pulley rather than under it as it should have been. Lesson learned, never back to that shop even though it was recommended by another D2 owner. Will always check the belt routing after anyone else touches it in the future.

When I bought my "Frankenstein" - (brought back to life with parts from the dead ones) - the PO had belt route wrong, bad fan clutch, electric fans hooked up reverse polarity, and was missing the top of the radiator fan shroud. All bad by themselves, and combined were "hot stuff."
IMHO a small photo copy of the belt route, under clear plastic shipping tape, would be a plus under the hood.
