age old qu lift and tires
I've recently started the quest of finding out what suspention and tire setup I want to run. I've searched and all the info is everywhere so I thought that I would start a thread, maybe we could add it to the "write ups" sticky. If others could post pics of their setup, side and angle to show a good idea of the stance, and list the height of the lift and the tire size, and the brand of each. Plus any triming or "needed" components to make it work. Try to keep it simple and informative and no comments or questions please. If you want to ask a question use a different thread, so others can use this info in the future without a bunch of crap to sift through. I also added the words lift and tires to the title so it can be searched for later, a good practice, as I always remember reading about a problem but can never find it cause someone titled it "need help", You know what I'm talking about.
also stock spring and different tire pics welcome as well

My '98 has OME medium duty 2" springs and BFG M/T at 235/85/16 mounted on steelies.
The attached pic shows some articulation, as she was parked funny. The only mods needed to fit the tires were a bit of fender trimming on the rear. Follow the writeup on discoweb and you'll do fine.
Oh, and the difference from factory rubber to the M/T's was amazing. She oozes trail prowess now, and lowly jeeps and chevy's shudder in her presence.

Hey tweak, just traded the BFG's for some Goodyear MT/R's. Still the same size at 235/85/16. I love these tires. The BFG's tried to vibrate my teeth out of my skull when I'd drive on the motorway, while the goodyears are as smooth and quiet as the factory suv tires.
This is my 1999 D1 im running Toddco 3" medium duty lift with Pro Comp ES9000 shocks. 245/75/19 M/Ts without any fender trimming or any rubbing. i can easily fit 33/12.50s but needs fender trimming
