Default Air box hose help

Hi friends, my 2000 disco is need of an air hose from the fender to box. I see that no one sells these by itself. I tried a couple "rigged" ways but nothing worked. I don't want to fork out $450 for the whole setup. I searched but didn't find anything as far as cheap and easy ways to fix that accordion tube. Any ideas would be awesome, thanks!

Good luck. I haven't seen any solutions yet.

Luckily, it's not really important unless you've got a snorkel.

I found a replacement from a boneyard truck. That may not be of much help to you. I don't know how bad of shape yours is in but you might try wrapping it with duct tape.

If you want to do it cheaply, just get the whole box used. My "hose" attachment also fell apart, and I couldn't figure a way to replace it that wasn't super tacky. The space is pretty cramped in there.

I think if you had a 3d printer and some design skills you could manage it, and maybe you're more creative than I am. But it won't likely be easy. I'd wager you could even leave it off without much worry – it's not like it's bypassing the air filter or anything.
